  • Vegetables and Fruits

  • Lean Proteins
You have to eat beef, egg yolks as they contain high proteins that will help you during the day, you have to be sure that your proteins contain less fats than usual to gain the highest benefits from your diet.

  • Iron

Iron prevents anemia and produces hemoglobins, it is present in beef, spinach and dried beans.

  • Folic acid
Folic acid for pregnancy is very important to decrease early labour, dry bean is good source for folic acid during pregnancy.


  • Iodine
Iodine is critical and important nutrient when pregnant, as it helps the nervous system of the baby to grow and develop, its supply prevents brain disability.
 Decreased iodine may cause early labour of the baby, and seafood is considered as the best source for iodine.

  • Vitamin A
Vitamin A is very important vitamin when pregnant, as it helps in teeth and bone growth.

  • Vitamin B

  • Alcohols
You have to stop drinking any kind of alcohol during pregnancy as it is very harmful to you and your baby and may cause emotional issues, so you have to avoid drinking any alcohol and begin to drink healthy drinks like milk, water and fruit juice.

  • Caffeine
It is not necessary to remove caffeine from your pregnancy diet but you have to decrease it as it will decrease your weight after birth and may cause miscarry, so it is considered from food not to eat when pregnant.

  • Unpasteurized milk
Make sure that every cup of milk you take is fully pasteurised, as unpasteurized milk is considered, as foods to avoid during pregnancy.

  • Unwashed Vegetables and Fruits
You have to wash all your fruits and vegetables as they have bacteria on their surface that will affect your health and your baby's health.
